Dr. Daniel H. Karney is an Associate Professor of Economics at Ohio University in Athens, OH. Dr. Karney earned his Ph.D. in Economics (2014) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From 2004-2007, Dr. Karney worked at ICF International in Fairfax, VA as an energy policy consultant after graduating with a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Grinnell College (2004) in Grinnell, IA. Dr. Karney’s research specializes in environmental and energy policy, and he has published academic articles in several peer-reviewed journals including Energy Economics, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Contemporary Economic Policy, Economic Modelling, and Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economics.
